How much is an ounce of prevention worth to your pet?
Pets are living longer than ever, thanks to advances in veterinary care and improved nutrition, providing their owners with many more years of love and faithful companionship. The trade-off, however, is that pets age must faster their human counterparts and therefore diseases can develop must faster also.
The good news is that many of these health problems can be prevented, controlled, or treated if detected in the early stages. This is where a preventative wellness plan comes becomes so important. Wellness is for all ages, not just your geriatric pets. Wellness encompasses comprehensive history taking ,
thorough physical examination, a individualized vaccination plan, and baseline diagnostic testing including parasite evaluation.

Still unsure if your pet needs a wellness exam? Click for a Canine Questionnaire or Feline Questionnaire.
If you answer YES to any of these questions, you should have your pet evaluated and discus a wellness plan with one of our veternarians.
Beginning Preventative Care for Puppies and Kittens.
To ensure that your puppy/kitten receives complete preventative care to protect against disease, we recommend a series of three visits. During these visits, your pet will receive all vaccinations needed to maintain good health. In addition, a veterinarian will thoroughly examine your pet to identify any potential problems.
Because your pet's health and wellbeing will depend on more than just vaccinations, we will sit down and talk with you about caring for your new puppy or kitten, training and behavior concerns, and answer any questions you might have.
